Our highly-skilled massage therapists and licensed estheticians join EarthBody with a passion for the healing arts of therapeutic massage, deep bodywork, organic skincare, and holistic therapies. Our massage therapists have a background in Eastern and Western philosophies namely Thai, Shiatsu, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, and Trigger Point therapies. Each therapist has a dedication within the field, a personal practice, and a story that led him or her to the work they do.
Denmo Ibrahim
Ayurvedic Educator, Certified Massage Therapist, Founder & CEO
Denmo began Earthbody as a small independant private practice in 2007. Through word of mouth and transformative client experiences, Earthody grew into an organic day spa for healing. Her sessions weave intuition with years of training in bodywork, anatomy, and healing modalities. Denmo is a graduate of the World School of Holistic Healing, the San Francisco School of Massage and holds an MFA in movement from Naropa University. She has studied intensively with Bonnie Banbridge Cohen, founder of Body Mind Centering. Her sessions weave in Trigger Point Therapy, Body Mind Centering, Deep Tissue, and connective tissue unwinding. Denmo is a deep believer in the ways we can heal and loves to support a client's personal growth.
Wesley Cabral
Certified Massage Pracitioner & COO
Wesley was drawn to bodywork through his background in fine art where he focused on the study of anatomy and anatomical drawing. This work sparked a lifelong engagement with the form and function of the human body. Over the past 3 years Wesley has trained with Denmo in learning how bodywork and meditation can open a deeper relationship to one’s body facilitating health, healing and awakening. Wesley studied Swedish and deep tissue massage along with myofascial release at the San Francisco School of Massage.
Ashlee Gansenberg
Ayurvedic Practitioner, Natural Therapeutic Specialist & Certified Massage Therapist
Ashlee has a nurturing yet deep touch that enables her to get to the source of her clients pain. After studying with a doctor of Ayurveda in Massachusetts, Ashlee moved to New Mexico where she graduated from the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics. There she received over 800 hours of training in massage, polarity, deep tissue, trigger point, cranial sacral, acupressure, myo-fascial, pregnancy massage, shiatsu, Chinese Medicine and reflexology. Soon after graduating, Ashlee trained and worked under world-renowned Ayurvedic practitioner, Dr. Vasent Lad for four years at The Ayurvedic Institute. While working in the Pancha Karma Department, she studied the treatment of disease through preventative care, bodywork, diet, herbs, yoga and lifestyle. Ashlee is also trained as a Doula and spent time mentoring with a homebirth mid-wife. She brings her expertise of pregnancy and post partum care to her massage practice. Ashlee strives to assist clients on their journey towards a pain-free life.
Elsa Heller
Certified Massage Therapist
Elsa's touch has a very nurturing quality, blending relaxation with an innate skill for therapeutic care. She comes from the Hawaiian island of Maui. Growing up in such a holistic mecca has made her very aware how important it is to be healthy and happy in body mind and spirit. She believes it is just as important to be aware of what we put in our body's as what we do with them. Her love of yoga and training in Thai massage has brought home the importance of breath and movement as a essential part of our body's balance. Her main goal in each session is to create a stress free environment for her clients body and mind to expand and allow for the powerful healing that we all hold within us. Her journey into massage began in 2004 on a trip to South East Asia studying massage at the Thai Massage School Chiang Mai, and the Sunshine massage school. She later returned to the US and completed her training at the Spa Luna School of Massage Therapy graduating with honors in 2007. Elsa's diverse modalities include Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, deep tissue, Swedish Myofacial release and some light Thai Streching, Sports Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Pregnancy Massage, and Hot Stone Massage.
Emma Mezher
Certified Massage Therapist
Emma has been practicing as a Massage Therapist for over 11 years, and is currently studying Chinese Medicine at ACTCM. Emma’s bodywork is an eclectic blend of Shiatsu, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Craniosacral Therapy and Acupressure. Her advanced training was completed at The Institute of Psycho-Structural Balancing in Los Angeles, and she continues to study Craniosacral Therapy with the Milne Institute. Her skilled, gentle approach utilizes the body’s innate capacity for self-regulation and healing to effect change and encourage both structural and energetic release. Sessions are tailored to best meet the therapeutic and individual needs of each client, and she creates a warm, nurturing environment where body and mind can unwind and integrate.
Heather Stewart
Certified Massage Therapist & Registered Yoga Teacher
Heather builds on a foundation in Swedish-based muscular therapy. During her sessions, she combines deep tissue work and myofascial release with relaxation massage to create an integrated session based on an opportunity for balance and healing, whether a client is recovering from an injury, training for an event or seeking to reduce stress. Heather is also a registered yoga teacher. With her thorough understanding of functional anatomy, she adds a sense of strength, peace and mindfulness to her bodywork.
Sharma Bouche
Certified Massage Therapist
Dedicated to a lifelong journey of healing, Sharma brings intuitive touch and functional body medicine to each unique session. She studied massage in Coastal Maine and has been practicing for 10 years. Working with a diverse clientele over the years, she is well versed in Swedish, deep tissue, Prenatal, hot stone and considers Ayurvedic rituals to be sacred as well as practical. Integrating her experiences in Classical Homeopathy, Art, Motherhood and Yoga, Sharma appreciates the dynamic and powerful connection of mind, body and spirit. She has answered her life’s calling to be a vessel of healing, loving energy with all those she encounters. Sharma considers it a privilege to be of service in this divine Earthbody sanctuary.
Rachel Wiener
Certified Massage Therapist
Rachel has been a Massage therapist since 1994, when she graduated from The Swedish Institute in New York City. Her work is an intuitive combination of Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Myofascial Release and Sports Massage techniques. She has also received training in Lomi Lomi, Thai, and Rosen method. Rachel spent three years in a Zen Buddhist monastic community and believes that the most important thing a therapist can offer beyond any technique is a mindful and compassionate presence, which can facilitate an innate capacity to heal.
Rebecca Eager
Certified Massage Therapist
Rebecca grew up in a tiny town in Nebraska. At a young age, Rebecca hoped Massage Therapy would be a large part of her life. After 1,000 hours of training at the Omaha School of Massage Therapy in the year 2000, she has been practicing her Massage modalities on all ages. Her craving for adventure brought her to the Bay Area in 2010. Rebecca listens and really caters to each and every individual client, making their session special and personalized. Pregnancy Massage is her favorite modality. An intensive led by Claire Miller, certified her as a Pregnancy Massage Therapist. She also enjoys to perform Swedish, Deep Tissue and Hot Stone Massage. Bodywork is very dear to Rebecca and has been very fulfilling in her life journey.
Adriene Crimson Fonte
Esthetician & Certified Massage Therapist
Adriene has been caring for people since 1996 when, for the next 4 years, she was an Ayurvedic Panchakarma Technician at The Raj in Fairfield, Iowa. Since 2007 she's been a California Licensed Esthetician and finds the synergy created from the combination of massage, Ayurveda and esthetics deeply fulfilling. Her training at the San Francisco School of Massage allowed her to add knowledge of anatomy, tension release and body mechanics to her intuitive, caring facials and massage treatments. Adriene loves to hold a space for her clients that allows them to come back to themselves so they emerge refreshed, rejuvenated and grounded. Her extensive background in product use and ingredient knowledge allows her to assist her clients with proper home care and treatment guidelines that are based solely on individual client needs. She is grateful to be a part of the beautiful Earthbody team.
Carrie Stephenson
Esthetician & Certified Massage Therapist
Carrie Stephenson dedicates her life to creating wellness of the whole body. She has an innate desire for sharing this gift with others, and it is her goal to provide a platform for her client's to develop their own unique healing and understanding of their body, mind and spirit. In 2005, Carrie began her journey of massage in Santa Barbara and has naturally broadened her informed as well as intuitive abilities to best serve her clientele. Her treatments weave a nurturing and harmonious flow including Swedish and Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Hot Stone Therapy, Acupressure and Reflexology. She became a CA State Licensed Esthetician accredited through the Cinta Aveda Institute of San Francisco in 2009. Carrie has a passion for sharing her prowess in product and ingredient knowledge through a skillful and nurturing style that is conducive with her holistic approach in her body work. While always treating what best serves your skin’s nature, she will naturally guide you towards the balancing of your internal health to create your unique external radiance.
