Today’s Truth Tattoo (TTT): Love has no bounds. This is terrible news because then we realize how small we’ve made our lives. It’s inconvenient to fall in love with more than one person, place, or thing because heartbreak becomes inevitable and we lose control and then we’re miserable and have bad breath.
But the good news is that because love has no bounds, we can discover parts of ourselves we’ve lost in the other. That’s what makes love so freaking magical—we feel at home, at peace in love. It’s because the other is a mirror of us—a part of ourselves that we’ve forgotten. And so, the key, as it always was intended to be, is to love like a fool—everyone, anyone, and especially someone you have the honor of being close to. For it’s through the recklessness of the heart that we find our own truth.
