When struggling to respond to an experience that has you tethered to your inner stories, try asking yourself these questions.
Is it true?
Is it really true?
How do I know it’s true?
What story am I bringing to this?
How would it be different without my story?
Take five minutes to write down your responses, and spend another five minutes in silent meditation, sitting with any physical sensations you are having. Then readdress the situation with clarity and the confidence of embodying your own truth.
