Covid-19 Safety

Vaccination Requirements

All clients and staff are currently required to show proof of vaccination at Earthbody.

Our goal is to prioritize the health and safety of our team and guests. We are aligning with the vaccination requirements San Francisco has established for indoor activities.

All clients must bring a physical or digital copy of their vaccination card, along with a photo ID. (Please don't email photos) The card must show full vaccination for COVID-19 at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment. This is only required once. We will make a note on your account that the documents have been reviewed and you will not need to bring them for return visits.

Appointments will be cancelled and 100% of the service fee charged for guests who arrive without proof of vaccination and haven't previously brought in documentation.

If you have a medical exemption from vaccination you can still come in for services. We will need a written exemption from your medial provider. Please send this to us no later than 24 hrs before your appointment to avoid cancellations.

Pregnant clients booking prenatal sessions are also exempt from the vaccination requirement. If you have received the vaccine, please still bring in documentation so we can update your account.

Our therapists and staff are all currently vaccinated.

Alongside our commitment to holistic healing, we will continue to keep your health and well-being at the forefront as we navigate Earthbody Treatments in the time of Covid-19.

What we’re doing to protect clients and staff

From the moment you make your booking to the moment you leave our sanctuary, we are taking precautions to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

If you are feeling sick, do not come in for your appointment.

Contact us at the first sign of illness or any known COVID exposure to reschedule.

Masks are required for all clients and staff as required by San Francisco health orders.

As always, we will continue our practices of cleaning and sanitizing all work spaces. Read on for a complete list of safety protocols and updated practices.

What clients can expect when returning to Earthbody

  • As we work to minimize people gathering indoors, please do not come in more than 5 min before your appointment.
  • The lounge will be reserved for treatment clients only
  • We are temporarily discontinuing tea service.
  • We will implement extensive sanitation protocols after each treatment.

  • Additional air filtration and ventilation in all treatment rooms
  • Masks are required for all clients and therapists regardless of vaccination status.
  • If you are booking a Spa Package or Mini Ritual that includes a face treatment, you will need to provide proof of vaccination for COVID-19 in order to remove your mask for the service. This is a city mandated requirement. Once the face portion of the service is complete you will need to wear your mask again. If you are not vaccinated, or don't wish to provide documentation we can omit the face treatment and replace it with an alternate service.

We will likely need to contact you to adjust your booking by 15-30 minutes to ensure we are able to maintain social distance within the lounge. In addition to having hand sanitizer available all public spaces, we’ll continue our thorough hygienic practices per treatment with an express checkout service.

Please note that parking has become more limited in Hayes Valley due to outdoor dining and curbside pickup. If you're driving, plan for extra time to park.
